It flares up worse when it is my time of the month. I am feeling better now and I keep feeling starving. But, only eating bland foods. I was so sick that everything done came out of my stomach this morning. I just keep sleeping. I think I will go in to work tomorrow morning. There is no reason for me to miss if I am still feeling better. I do have pretty severe IBS. But, the doctor also thinks I have female problems. It could be endometrious he said which can make it very difficult to have children. I have not had this severe pain in a very long time. I actually felt like my intestines was going to burst. I was crying and even screaming in pain it was so horrible. I thought I was going to die. I honestly did think that. And I prayed and prayed about it. But, as of now, I am feeling much better. Thanks for all your prayers and support. It meant a lot to me.

Suffering from Crohn's Disease I know how painful it can be. It is a pain that is worse than child labor without an epidural. I hope you start feeling better and I would get it check out and make sure it nothing more than what they are saying. When I was first diagnose they told me that I had a bad case of a stomach virus. It turned out to be more. Thank goodness it wasn't cancer. Take care of yourself which I know is hard when you work.

Prayers on the way. Hope you feel better, since I struggle as you do so I know how disruptive IBS can be. I feel for you and agree on the plain diet. My husband jokes my diet is the White Diet - bananas, applesauce, rice, potatoes, white bread, plain english muffins, turkey/chicken, and mainly yogurt. I've been buying Health Food store yogurt brands, since they're higher in live cultures. And I do notice a huge improvement, when I start my day with one serving and end my day with one more serving. I prefer Vanilla flavor with honey stirred in. You could try that. I just down both servings at the sink, since I don't really like yogurt but I know how beneficial it is for a normal GI tract.

Miss Mary, thanks for those links!
CajunGal - Endometriosis can be difficult to diagnose. When I had my hysterectomy (necessary due to fibroid tumors), they planned a simple surgery. When they administered general anesthesia and did a final exam before surgery, they found (undiagnosed) endometriosis. They had to call in a 2nd surgeon, cut me wide open, and resection part of my colon. When the doctor asked me later if I'd had back pain, and if so why hadn't mentioned to him, I replied "Why would I tell a gynecologist about back pain? I just have a bad back that hurts sometimes". Mild endometriosis is fairly common and usually doesn't require anything as radical as surgery. If a gynocologist isn't easy to find, another option would be an internal medicine specialist.
Will certainly pray for you!!! {{{{hugs}}}}}

I know they won't be able to diagnos me with endometrios unless I have surgery. I been suffering since high school with these time of the month cramps. I got on birth control pills at the age of 18 after passing out at Trade School from the pain. The birth control pills have helped a lot over the years. But, now within the past few months, I find they are not helping as much. I suffered from bad IBS since I was a very small child. Sometimes I wonder if have Crohns. Because I find the older I get, the worse the pain gets. I am feeling better today, so I am off to work. The only good thing out of this pain if there is a such thing is that I lost 4 pounds in only 2 days. The only way it seems like I can drop a pound is when I am sick.

You should try to see a specialist in that field if you have not. I know you do not have insurance, but your health is a priority. An office call is not that expensive. Would your parents help with extras like tests, etc.? Even if you have to put on a credit card, your health comes first and there may be a new drug or procedure out since you last asked your doctor. Is your doctor a specialist in this field?
