i havent watched the weather channel in so long....
Alicia - you beat me to my post! LOL
What's wrong with TWC? I'd rephrase that and ask - what's right with TWC?
Severe wx rolled in a few nights ago, tornado warnings/watches all over the place, south and west of here. We turn on TWC and they of course were airing Storm Stories. Sadly, this is the night that something like 27 people lost their lives in Tennessee from a Tornado. Now there's something wrong with this picture!

Yes, I watch the weather channel too. But, I think your local stations are good. I keep up with the weather forums.
Also, during the cane season, I am in the chatroom. We had over 100 a night. We only talk weather in there during canes. That is where everyone congregates and lets people know what to do and how to deal with what is coming their way in a live manner. The room is kind of slow now, but it usually is hopping after 9 or 10. It is a later crowd now cause most are on the forums earlier. When cane season starts, you best get there early. Cyclone keeps me informed of our area. Stop in sometime.

It's their perogative as to what they do with their channel. You have other choices...fox, cnn, local stations, internet. I feel that with all the other options out there for people that this is the way they felt they should go for the general public. I guess I'm just tired of all the complaining people do about twc.

It seems the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (covered by Comcast) is the only city that's getting weatherscan on basic cable, even though most custmers have digital cable.
I gotta admit, I love TWC latest hilarious studio commercial.
