NWS Warning Game

#1 Postby conestogo_flood » Sun Apr 09, 2006 8:52 am

This game is really fun. You issue warnings based on radar, and some reports. It lasts about 10 minutes, it's a lot of fun. My tornado lead time is 5 minutes, and 8 minutes for my thunderstorm warnings.

You have to wait for the Java Applet to fully load. It might take a minute.

The amount of time between the issuance of the warning and the actual tornado/hail/wind. The longer the better.

That game is awesome. 8-)

OH cxrap I'm gonna have to do it again if it changes the scenario each time. My first time I had 4 minute lead time on Tornados. I issued 14 warnings and only 6 of them verified :( but the other storms had impressive hooks so I figured better safe than sorry. I issued 19 svr warnings and 14 verified...in short I sucked :(
