Get a seat at the end of the pew. (which end depends on which knee) You can stick the leg out the side if it isn't bending well yet. Or just stretch it out fully if it gets stiff staying bent too long. Kneeling, well, that is another adventure.
Oh, and watch out for little kids, they have an uncanny ability to bump into the spot that will hurt the most!
