Eat the crust of your bread and your hair will be curly. My father used to say "suffer a little, it's good for your character".

ah, i almost forgot:

you have to suffer to be beautiful.

When we move into a new house, we always put bread and change in a little bag behind the furnace so there will always be food and money in the house.

Never go barefoot outside.(after going to Israel, I understand that one better now.)

In some cultures, it was thought that in order to bring prosperity to their home, the first things a new wife should bring into the couples abode was a broom and either a box of salt or a head of garlic.

"But mom, all the kids are doing it".

Mom says "well, if all the kids jumped off a bridge, would you?"

Energy changes frequencies. It can go from really nice to really nasty, just like a beautiful piece of fruit can begin to rot or a lovely relationship can begin to wither from neglect.

It is natural for humans to prefer fresh energy. It is also natural to simply not notice that your energy has gotten stale or stagnant. Sometimes we just don't pay attention or notice. But others do. If we get a haircut or wear something new, they notice and we feel different.

The same thing applies to your environment. Yes, you need to freshen outdated photos and upgrade your kitchen, but you also need to sweep away the old and bring in the new. Women have been doing this for years and calling it "Spring Cleaning."

Bringing in fresh energy returns your environment to the vibrancy and potential of a fresh spring morning. Colors, sounds and flavors all seem to be crystal clear and true, instead of muffled or bland. Past experiences are released and new opportunities are established.

When is the best time to do an energy clearing?

After any significant emotional event or tragedy, like a fight, divorce, or death, as well as a new job or promotion, marriage or birth.

At the change of seasons

At the new year

Whenever you want to bring in a change in your life

Before you move into a new location
What do you need to have on hand for an energy clearing?

You should discuss the nature of the current energy situation with Trisha. She is trained to evaluate what needs to be done for each specific situation. Some of the things she might request that you have on hand include:

A fresh unopened box of sea salt
Candles
Fresh flowers
Spring water (bottled, like Ozarka)
Red string, ribbons or cord
Music
Incense
Bells, drums, or chimes
A new broom
What do you need to do before Trisha arrives for an energy clearing?

Clear the clutter

Take out the trash

Scour, dust, sweep, and mop

Bathe and put on no deoderant, scent or makeup

Take off all jewelry or metal objects (we're not going to get too crazy about this - don't worry about zippers or glasses or the like)

If you can, open all the windows and turn off the air conditioning or heat

Put away all food, including pet food

If you know how, meditate beforehand
What does an energy clearing cost?

Trisha charges $100 per hour of her time in your home. You are requested to honor the tradition of the red envelopes and present your payment to her in a red envelope. (If Trisha is required to travel more than 50 miles, there may be charges for travel, lodging, etc.)

The Tradition of the Red Envelopes

In China, gifts of money are given in red envelopes. Red is a color that has very auspicious meanings - even the brides wear red.

By providing your payment wrapped within a red envelope, you show your honor and respect for what you have been given. It's very much like wrapping a gift instead of giving it as you bought it. The use of the red envelope by the client for payment is both an energy exchange and a sign of respect.

The action of putting the money in a red envelope protects me from the taking home the negative forces in your environment that I had come to resolve.
