Well, I can only speak for MOST folks in this area, and we are NOT looking forward to the season a whit! While I know there's no necessary link with how warm it's been to occurance of hurricanes, the levels of heat already in the area are making folks a little more anxious as the season nears.

You can say that again A2K. With highs in the 90's each day, that's all I hear now...people worried about this coming hurricane season. I don't think I ever felt the "fear in the air" like I do this year.

I think many people believe that June 1 is just an arbitrary date and a tropical storm or hurricane could occur before then.
