Your Greatest Asset

#1 Postby Janice » Fri Apr 21, 2006 9:12 am

You have raised your children, so to speak or turned them into adults. They are finished with high school and on to bigger and better things. What is the biggest asset you see in these children or child you have raised. What are they doing to make you proud of them?

My daughters - They have finished college, have careers and have wonderful husbands. They have give me 3 grandchildren who are well behaved, well disciplined, smart, beautiful, glorious and generally perfect!!!! Can you tell they are the apple of my eye. :D I truly believe that their honesty and integrity coupled with their kindness and generosity have made me the proudest parent and grandparent around.

My daughters - That they both care about their fellow man. In open minded ways (usually). And are kind to animals.

my greatest asset via my kids has yet to be realized for the most part. they're still trying to find their place place in the world but so far, they are independent, tolerant, and open minded (and a little strange...)but they come by that honestly.

OMG, here we go again!!!!!

Oh, and to answer the question-both of my children care for others and most deeply for their family. At 23 and 26 they are still growing into themselves, but I really feel like my wife and I have done better than we ever imagined with them. Time will tell. And yes their strangeness is inherited, just like Alicia's kids is!!!hehehe
