What is the best way to get from I-376 West to I-579 North? I thought they both intersected, but at a more detailed look at the map, apparently they don't :\

Didn't know there was a I 579. Where are you trying to get to and from where? I'm from around Pittsburgh and work at the airport. I can get you where you need to go.

I've never heard of 579. Give me a town name or something.

From my view of the map, I'd say follow 376 West to 279 at the "point" then cross the Allegheny River by the stadiums. 279 then doubles back in an easterly direction and connects to 579. At that point you can continue north on 279 to 79 or else circle back onto 579 south.

If your ultimate goal is 79 north, I'd take 76 all the way around the city to the north.

If you're adventurous and have the time, you can do it all on local streets.

If you still looking for directions...follow 376 into the city. Take the Boulvard of the Allies exit. Follow Boulvard of the Allies to the end, and follow signs for 579. I believe one exit at that points heads for the Liberty Bridge/Tubes, while the other goes towards 579. Hope this helps you out. Sorry it has taken me this long to get the directions, as I've been away for a while. I'm at my inlaws right now, and we followed 376 out of the city on Friday afternoon - and I saw signs in the rearview window that showed Boulvard of the Allies and 579 together.

Tom is right. I think that Boulevard of the Allies exit number off of 376 is 2B.
