I hope we still are! I would be upset if I done took the day off of work, got all ready, and no meetup. I am not driving there, but would still be upset, if I went meet my ride and nobody showed up or something.

I really really hope that I get my loans closed so that I have money to go. Time is dwindling down farther and farther. P.S. I am a mortgage broker so that is what i'm talking about. I only have a couple more to close before I start my new job next week.

In addition I would have liked to schedule this next year for memorial day weekend so we can have a 2 day event type thing.

If something is going to happen, it is going to happen. New Orleans is only an hour drive away from my home and I been going there countless times every single year. Since I was a tiny baby. I am not going to let anything ruin this for me. I plan to go to New Orleans for the storm2k meetup, and enjoy myself. I am not going to worry myself to death over petty stuff that can happen anywhere. Nothing is going to stop me from having a good time and enjoying the company of the storm2k folks that I consider like family.
