Downtown Chicago (within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile) has several round parking garages like this. I've walked past them a few times while on weekend trips with my sisters-in-law and think to myself, I'm glad I don't have to park in that thing! They're mostly open, concrete and have one cable stopping the car from going over. No thanks! But the Chicago ones aren't sleek and modern looking like this German one. Pretty cool and different.

*Edit* Found a link for these garages. Now I remember, they have apartments or condo's above them. I never really knew the history of these buildings before but the lower parking garage levels are indeed round and reminded of this German parking garage.
