I'll be chiming in, Mike had an interview earlier today with Max and I was listening but, it kept cutting in and out. I figured I would just listen to the recorded version later but, it sounded like a good conversation from what I heard in the first 5 minutes.

Going back to the last hurricane conference and all the media questions about global warming affecting the recent upswing of hurricanes and hurricane intensity. I would hope that the media would start to really try to cover hurricane preparation and asking pleanty questions about that. The media does not focus a lot on preparation before season, during season and before storms strike land. I think that if the national networks got in on this stressing hurricane preparation it would help stress to people they need to prepare. IMO

I agree, SouthFloridawx... they should also address more good points on preparedness. Prepare, prepare, prepare. Think, think, think. Use your brain and lessons learned and facts.

As I mentioned about New Jersey not being ready when I called in, its a real concern and people need to take it seriously
