I don't know for sure, but I would imagine the membership on this board grew by leaps and bounds last year, and all of the new members (including myself) just happened to join during one of the most (if not the most) exciting seasons ever.
Just wait, around late July to mid-August, when nothing has formed in two or three weeks...the "Season is Dead" posts will begin to appear. Then again, after the last couple fo years, a nice long lull about mid-season wouldn't be all that bad, would it?
I think that is true...and I think there is a lot of anticipation...and it gets in the way of the truth of the matter: It's still early. People are also expecting every little low to be tropical (even in April...which has only happened ONCE)..and the truth is sometimes a cold front is just a cold front....and even more so when there are 40-50 knots of westerly winds sitting on the top of it!
