when no storm has formed by 12pm on June 1st, 2006: "I guess the season is over." ; "no need to worry this year" ; "Considering the trend, I now expect less than 10 storms." ; "WOW! what a boring season!"

1) The pressure has risen 1 mb in the last hour; storm cancel.
2) OMG, did we just break the record!?
3) "...rapid deepening..."
4) "(Even) Grace looked better (with a "lol" or "rolleyes" smiley)."
5) "It's going to run into South America."
6) "You know what this reminds me of... "
7) "Poof"

Why does the LBAR have it moving along the equator and turning and Hitting Iceland as a category 4?

1.It's a boring season.
2. Dud season.

2. This season is dead

SEASON CANCEL

I know this thread is supposed to be funny, and it is, and I promise I'll have my humor at the end of this post, and Luis, George, and Hurricane Floyd, don't take this the wrong way. In fact, if anything, you guys saying it in spirit of the thread simply to be entertaining DOES succeed and I actually have hope that those comments will drive people away from saying those things. Because George, I have to agree with the emoticon you had after the last comment. Especially after last year, I just don't think there should be ANY "season's over" comments until the season IS over. With many people posting that no more hurricanes would develop while Irene was spinning out there in early August when we had had 2 hurricanes (though now we know there were 3 with Cindy), complacency CAN develop (and very well could have last year as a result of people saying things like that, who knows?) Just because the tropics are "boring" does not mean the season is over, especially in the first half of August. I'm not trying to be rude, especially since I don't even live in hurricane territory; I'm simply giving advice for this season.

OK, rant over, I just wanted to get that out of the way.

So what will we hear this year?

"Avila sucks"
"Stewart is the MAN!"
"Will ______ EVER make up its mind?" (usually a female  j/k, you know I love you ladies, but there was Ophelia.....)
"Will ______ be a fish or hit land?"

The model say it suppossed to turn back west but its moving NNW. No its moving more NW than NNW. No it looks like WNW to me. The famous wobble threads love it. Why do we have to have stupid wobble threads its pointless. Yea but were discussing the track.
