"Good grief, another Fox News ALERT!"

"I hope they're HUNKERED DOWN."

"The anemometer recorded a maximum windspeed of __ MPH before it was destroyed."

"The intensity is therefore maintained at ___ knots, and this may be a little generous."

"Hurricane ____ has changed little overnight."

"FEMA is waiting for paper copies of the Accuweather forecasts to arrive by courier before making a final decision."

"Congress today approved another 40 kazillion dollars for hurricane relief."

"Anybody know where I can get some gas cans??"

"I've got to get to Wal-Mart. I'll post more later."

"Wow, I just registered a gust of 140mph and my SPRINT CARD is still connected to the internet."

"The real estate market in Florida is going to collapse."

In my opinion, the word "Hunkered" should be added to the FCC's list of words they can't say on-air.

Better hunker down for this one...

Pat Robertson has become a weather forecaster ->

"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Pat Robertson said May 8.

He added specifics in Wednesday's show.

"There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest," he said.

The NHC will probably say this again:
"The 2006 Hurricane Season seems to not have an interest in climatology".
