Those are great pictures. Wow, what a wonderful place to visit. Do you do a lot of walking and climbing? Have you camped out there too? Great to take a camper and spend a few days in that wilderness.

The whole STATE has BECOME touristy, with gas prices being what they are I reckon instead of leaving state this summer, everyone has decided to tour the state and let me tell ya, it is SOOOOOOOOOOoooooo crowded here NOW.....can't WAIT until this coming weekend

Like I said, we stayed in Flagstaff at the
Holiday Inn Express, 500 rooms + and there was
NO VACANCIES anywhere in town.....Grand Canyon tourists I guess

i have climbed there and it is GREAT.

but taking a camper in that kind of wilderness is a sin. Nothing like backpacking and sleeping under the stars.

i'll take tourists in AZ over tourists in Destin any day of the week. 8-)

They are gorgeous!

I'm heading out to Colorado at the end of June to see my Dad. It'll be a good time of the year because things should still be fairly green. They had a good winter snowfall wise. Perhaps Pike's Peak will still have alittle white on it. :D

Stephanie, believe it or
not, we still have snow
at the highest peak, Mt. Baldy!
We've been in the 80's and
90's here lately too!

Hopefully at the end of June there still will be some. I had visited my Dad one time during May and the Front Range looked like it was still in winter mode. :D
