Homebrewer - WOOHOO! My friend does this and belongs to a local association. I love her beer; no idea how she does it, but it comes close to the strong German stuff I like.

Homebrew and spam, yummy!

Reminds me of the Monty Python skit.

Man: You sit here, dear.
Wife: All right.
Man: Morning!
Waitress: Morning!
Man: Well, what've you got?
Waitress: Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;
Vikings: Spam spam spam spam...
Waitress: ...spam spam spam egg and spam; spam spam spam spam spam spam baked beans spam spam spam...
Vikings: Spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam!
Waitress: ...or Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam.
Wife: Have you got anything without spam?
Waitress: Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.
Wife: I don't want ANY spam!
Man: Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?
Wife: THAT'S got spam in it!
Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?
Vikings: Spam spam spam spam... (Crescendo through next few lines...)
Wife: Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?
Waitress: Urgghh!
Wife: What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like spam!
Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up!
Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up! (Vikings stop) Bloody Vikings! You can't have egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam.
Wife: I don't like spam!
Man: Sshh, dear, don't cause a fuss. I'll have your spam. I love it. I'm having spam spam spam spam spam spam spam beaked beans spam spam spam and spam!
Vikings: Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up!! Baked beans are off.
Man: Well could I have her spam instead of the baked beans then?
Waitress: You mean spam spam spam spam spam spam... (but it is too late and the Vikings drown her words)
Vikings: (Singing elaborately...) Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam! Spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam. Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Spam spam spam spam!

Ok, don't read the following if you're eating or have a quesy stomach:

watching those neat operations, like the one that the child had to have reconstructive surgery and they peeled her face off to do it and kept flipping the face back & forth..and the one back surgery they showed too putting the rods in the back and anyting else medically "cool" in my book"..my hubby had to leave the room, he says I'm a sick pup, sigh

I use a Taliban side knife (20" overall, 14" blade) to slice Italian bread; keeps company guessing, too.

I toast two slices of bread and heap on the butter and then nuke four slices of hard salami til its warm and heap it on the toast. I won't be surprised if they ever slice into my arteries if the inside smells like salami and butter.

Ooooo Cookiely, I just love rye bread (deli rye bread not the one they sell in a bag)with heaps of regular, good old fashioned salted butter with a hot cup of coffee!!!!! Yummy! My hubby always yells at me too when he sees my butter sandwich, it makes him sick, but I don't care, lol.

Because of a long time health condition (reflux), I have learned I can never eat a meal after 5 pm at night. So whether it's an invite to a Christmas dinner, a wedding reception meal on a Saturday evening, or just a night out for dinner and some good company with friends, while others eat, I sip on a drink (water, soda, coffee, brewski, or ??).

Those who know me have become used to that. Those who don't have sometimes considered my behavior as anti-social. And they have said so.

It's been normal for me for over 25 years.

Not so for them.
