#1 Postby Jim Cantore » Tue May 23, 2006 11:04 pm

Couldn't resist

10 rules for surviving Hurricane season

1. absolutely NO Hurricane Partys, no acceptions.
2. Give us a favor, dont show off by riding out a major Hurricane in your beachfront home.
3. Leave it to the pros
4. For the love of god dont do anything cute in 130mph wind gusts.
5. If a Hurricane is poised to hit your area, you shouldn't be watching the Weather Channel, you should be hitting the road.
6. Dont be like Diana Ross, just bring stardard supplies please.
7. if a category 5 is coming, dont waste your time boarding up, your house is doomed.
8. Note to self: Get a dome home
9. Dont invest your money in cloud seeding
10. For your sake, dont listen to the LBAR.

the following phrases mean leave immediately

Hurricane warning
Category 5
200mph
25 foot surge
contraflow
FEMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
40 inches of rain
Compareable to Katrina
Mandatory evacuation

The following means you are dead

the only road out is washed away
Whats that noise?
theres saltwater in the toliet
watch out for that volvo sailing through the air right at you
