Watches and Warnings are quickly being issued by the NWS to inform people before it gets dark that there is a svr wx threat in the area. West Central MN got in on some nice hail cells and even had a cell producing winds in excess of 75 mph. It looks like the threat of organzied cells is quickly increasing, while the tornadic threat will decrease some i nthe next hour or two. I expect T storm watches to be abundant throughout the night. Good wind and hail threat will push through Iowa and southern MN tonight as far as the upper midwest goes.

Moderate risk issued for parts of Wisconsin. Mostly a wind threat - looks like a squall line will form.

Most of the threat seems to be just west of where I live. Storms are expected to form between 1-4pm west of the Mississippi. In the initial development, the NWS seems to think there's a bit of an expanded risk for tornado development, but the storms should form a squall line before they push into my area between 3-6pm. Our Hazardous Weather Outlook says winds up to 60 mph, hail up to golf ball size, and isolated tornadoes are the threat here. We'll see what happens!

I think, personally, there will be few - if any - tornadoes, and it will be a squall line from the outset.

Hard to tell right now, but there is a possible tornado on radar now in Sauk County, WI - 31kt shear...

Yeah that's about what it looks like out my window. Very very dark. Lots of wind, and heavy rain. No hail yet.

Hahaha. That's funny. NWS screwed up. They issued a tornado warning when they meant to issue a severe thunderstorm warning.
