Gathering in South Florida

If the Northern Gulf coast can do it we can too and their doing it again.Their are many members down here in Southern Florida who would like to meet each other. Sea World was great along with feederband, Otown, and reader12. The last gathering was in Nov of 2004 at a resturant in Boca Raton in which 9 members were present including Mike Watkins. Let's see if we can do it again.

You should have came to the gathering we just had at Sea World. :wink:

We will be due west of Boca Raton at the end of July, all the way over in Sanibel. Would it be in the Fall, like the last meet up you mentioned?

Count me in. We just need to pick a date and a place......Boca, what about that place I mentioned to you.....as far as anyone wanting to meet some Saturday night just to go out, I know an easy place, not very expensive here in Boca with live music and a few pool tables. Maybe we we can all go-make it the home of Storm2K!

Just PM me. Hey, how about this Saturday night fellow Storm2k'er's? We can usher in Hurricane Season!

Come by yourself or bring someone. I love impromptu parties!

I showed up in Nov. 2004.

It was cool!, Met fellow S2k'ers and good food too.

Will show up if it's in Boca Raton again.

I don't think I can make it Saturday... My uncle is coming in for the weekend with his kids. But, since you mention impromptu I guess you can twist my arm and we'll see what weekend we can meet up. Saturday nights are probably the best night for me.

Maybe we should just up a tentative date. Other people down here don't seem like they want to do this but, for the people like us that do... lets start thinking about a date and a location.

I'm in Palm Beach County, I mean Fort Lauderdale would be an ok location. Maybe we could alternate to different locations. We should plan a little bit ahead of time so that we give everyone a chance to input when is good for them. Saturday nights is going to be better for me as I work during the week and when I get home on friday I like to relax there.

I know that Mike was talking about a place called hurricane alley in boynton beach. I think that location would be pretty fitting for this group we have here.

I work at Home Depot so my hours vary. My daughters graduation is June 1st so that's out. Once we get a date out there I can request it off. Problem is we need a centralized location because of the tri county area.People in Miami are not going to travel to Boynton Bch or vice-versa.I would because I traveled to Sea World but thats me. I'm willing for anything. I think a centralized location would be good. Thats my 2 cents. Let's see the response we get.

Fort Lauderdale is a good location I think. Maybe we could rotate it around so that way one time it is easier for broward people, then easier for dade co. people and then palm beach county.

Sounds good to me out here in Weston...course I live at Uncle Al's out here off SR84 at Weston Rd....right across from Markham Park...grin. Mike said would be at Hurricane Alley on June 1 so may turn up there for a cold one..or three.

Ok let's pinpoint a date and location we can meet so we can get an accurate count of people who might be interested. A saturday would be great for me and I think at the end of june would be about 4 weeks for us to get everything planned out. Let's get some ideas from people who live in broward so that we know where everyone wants to meet. I think somewhere on the beach would be a lot of fun.
