Actually, given that this hurricane impacted the Northeast on the 13th and
14th of October, the 1846 storm actually made landfall near the Cedar Key area as
(possibly, actually likely) a major hurricane. To speak somewhat conservatively
this hurricane was quite intense for much of its life. In fact, this storm also made landfall
near Havana, where a ship recorded a pressure of 917 mb. Moreover, this hurricane
affected the Keys, and the MSLP of this storm as it passed the Keys has been estimated as low as 902 mb.

For what its worth, there was a "Hatteras Type Storm" in September of
that same year, and actually that storm was apparently quite intense as
well. However, the earlier storm made no landfall.

This link contains this information and quite a bit more(The pdfs relevant to the October hurricane contain "storm2"):

This specific storm's track was given as follows.

Storm Track

For those interested in doing their own tracks. Below is one of the main sources of information I used:

Maine Page:

I mainly focused on storms that effect my area directly, thus there are a few storms still to do.
