What happens if the convection doesn't fizzle tonight? Should we expect bands of rain to start moving onshore even if it's just a mid-level circulation. The Golden Triangle, far SE TX area really doesn't need. Homes were just flooded 2 days ago.

I agree. This activity, though, will definately become commonplace for every system!

I think I need to evacuate to Office Depot.

That's weird...I said it, not Paul.
Anyway, I'll check in on the Storm2K severe weather check-in thread when I get back. This one will probably be locked anyway.

Look at the water vapor loop, there's a UUL sitting right where this circ is supposed to be forming. Pressures are to dropping other than the normal everyday stuff. Maybe in a few days if T-storms persist in the same general area.

Regardless of whether or not this becomes a tropical system, this thing is going to bring tons of rain to the Texas Gulf Coast. Watch out Galveston down to Corpus... the rain will be coming in soon. Absolutely impressive on the radar loop.

Thats what I am afraid of, atleast for the people who's homes were flooded in the past 2 days.
