South Florida Gathering in new Gathering Forum (new)
As the title states is now in the Gathering forum. Let's see if we can get more people to go it will be fun.

Hey my fellow weather nuts, I'd love to meet up. I'm in fort Lauderdale. We have a nice Ale House in Fort Lauderdale on Federal just south of Oakland. I could meet up on Friday's usually around 8 or Saturday's around 9. Count me in...My email is jbg0172@aol.com and Ph#is 954-494-4780. I'd like to get a large turnout. Many storm2k people live in the tri-county area and fortlauderdale is smack in the middle from those commuting from the north in Jupiter and the south in Kendall.....I think Mike Watkins lives in fort Lauderdale or Delray. Either way with all his contributions it would definetely make for a great show and tell and meet and greet.

At lunchtime, Mark Sudduth and I will be in Boyton Beach on June 1st at a place called Hurricane Alley, a hurricane-themed resturant near the intracoastal.
I know this is not the gathering we're shooting for, but if anyone is around that day, come on by. Everything on the menu is named after a hurricane...and the food is exceptional, and hopefully I we can put some names to some faces and just hang out.
If ya can drop by on June 1st (I'll put up directions soon)...and of course I am in for whatever we end up deciding to do later on.

Another thing you might see is "Bump to the top...or BTTT.
Or...BTTTFL...Bump to the top for later...which means I want to read it...but don't have time so if I make my mark on it...I can bookmark it this way.

We will be there ar lunchtime tomorrow...from 11:30am to about 1PM or probably a little later. Here are directions from I95:
Take exit #57/FL-804 onto BOYNTON BEACH BLVD[FL-804] - go 1.2 mi (GO EAST)
Turn on US-1 SOUTH - go 0.1 mi
Turn on E OCEAN AVE - go 0.1 mi
Arrive at 529 E OCEAN AVE, BOYNTON BEACH

I haven't posted here since the end of last season, and I can't make your get-together. But I live in Jupiter and just wanted to say "hello" on this "Hurricane Season Eve." I'll be lurking and posting a lot as the season gets underway. Could be quite a year ... again.
