Gunmen ambush Russian diplomats in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Gunmen killed a Russian diplomat and kidnapped four others Saturday, police told CNN.

The gunmen attacked the diplomats' car in the upscale Mansour neighborhood, where the Russian embassy is located.

Details remain sketchy about the incident, which happened shortly before 3 p.m. local time (7 a.m. ET).
