Your Biggest Regrets
Other then my children, my biggest regret is that my parents died early. I wish they would have lived long enough to come here and enjoy our island.

Regrets, I have a few...
Funny, right now I'm listening to Linda Ronstadt's "I Never Will Marry" - a duet with Dolly Parton.
I shouldn't have married my first husband. I am not married now, but have been with my significant other, Marty, for almost 15 years. I am a romantic and always thought I would get married again and have a family. Timing is everything as they say, and when Marty & I got together, I knew that I probably wouldn't be having kids because of my medication for depression. I knew at that time I couldn't get off of it and be alright. It was the right decision. Marty was already a Dad with 3 sons and was not going to have any more.
Looking back, the justifications are still there and make sense, but I still have regrets.

Been out for 25 years Stephanie...and my activities of the 80's musta killed off a bunch of my brain cells. I could go take some classes but im not sure i want to go for a degree at this point in my life.
I think I've killed off a few brain cells during high school and college myself!

This is true.
Like I said, I'm a romantic at heart. I love the "falling in crazy love and riding off into the sunset" feeling when you get married and the early stages of a relationship. Now, it's like a comfortable shoe.

I don't have any real regrets, except maybe a few of my early relationships which were truly screwy. I look back on my life and I think of all the "bad" things I did as learning experiences that helped me grow into the person I am now, not really as regrets. I probably would have quite a few more brain cells than I do now if I hadn't partied so hard in high school and college, but I survived it and in many ways am better for the experience.

Not finishing my education degree when all I had left was one quarter and my student teaching to do. Now I have been out for ten years.
I do plan to go back and start over in special education but I am waiting till my 3 year old is in kindergarten which will be two years from now.
My second regret is not being there for my oldest daughter when I was going through depression after my son died. Even though my daughter didn't know it I was so out of it. Good thing that my husband and I were living with my parents at the time and they helped a lot. If only I had gotten help sooner.
And my third regret is looking back on the past and wondering why I did such and such. I can't change what has happen and can only look forward and make things better now.
