#1 Postby feederband » Sat Jun 03, 2006 6:54 pm

We usually put the state in the blank...Trying to get a new catchy word going for the storms that we think have a good shot of making land somewhere...These are what I thought were the top 12..

I find these two to be very good.

If you put them all in the context of a sentence not many make sense, but I found the fisherman did. And it goes with fish............ I think this one is a fisherman. We definitly got a fisherman on our hands.

I'm going to think over this one but, I can't believe my option for Stinker actually made it up there.

Sharks are totally ocean-living so it really means the same as fish...
Land Rover sounds like an SUV not a hurricane
Grounder, Stinker, Priority all all obvious descriptive terms, but not a good nickname.
Feet, Bite, and Land Lover are pretty stupid in my opinion...

I like Keeper and Fisherman, and my choice Mudd Skipper... although "Mudd Skipper" doesn't roll off the tongue and neither does Fisherman.

How bout "Muddy", or "Skipper", or "Angler"?

I voted for Skipper
