Drop #10 Elena from September and add Dora (1964) adjusted 2005 (using CPI) at 1.5 Billion.
Here's a decent list from NOAA.

I'm not using inflation
Dora was quite the intresting storm though, a track that today would certainly be intresting to say the least

Yeah, I believe since it is only 4th on that list, we have just one too many periods there... knock off the last three zeros.

I'm getting mixed messages, 12.2, 14.4, 16.8. I dont know what to believe.
You'll have that same problem with Katrina, and Rita as well... since they're so recent, the final numbers simply aren't in yet, and you can bet they'll only be going up.

I think Katrina will be in the range of 90-100 Billion possibly as high as 125
Rita I think is about right at 10 Billion
Wilma I think anywhere from 14-17 Billion

Hurricane Hunter 914 wrote:You see Aussie Mark just because the NHC has it at 12.2 billion doesn't mean it has stayed at that. Like for example they had Katrina's death toll at about 1,200. Now it's at 1,800 dead. And since the NHC do their reports almost right after the Storm, they aren't so accurate.
But the NHC is the official source. It's the Government. Until they update it, it is what will go down in the History Books.
