Sylvia Brown couldn't predict my next smirk, even if I was standing in front of her and the corner of my mouth was starting to budge.

Okay, maybe she could (lest I be sued for libel   ), but honestly, a medium predicting tropical weather?

What an utterly baseless and absurd prediction. I wonder if this lady can toss her chicken bones around and predict when someone (probably a REAL meteorologist) is going to take a baseball bat to her head for being a total dimwit who makes money from generating fear and hype in gullible people.

I would want to know if she is good on predicting which numbers will be out at the lotto. :)

Easy now. I don't believe in mediums either, but let's not go overboard. Also, the suggestion of anyone (meteorologist or otherwise) resorting to violence is a bit much.

You do realize I was kidding about the baseball bat, right? I still hold a great amount of disrespect for how this woman makes a living, though.

Yeah but violent jokes aren't really funny you know. Think about how this lady would feel if you said,"I'll hit that *@$^% with a baseball bat".

Depends. If this woman actually has some sincere, deep-rooted belief in astrology and her predictions, and she actually thinks she's helping people, then that's a little stupid, but I guess I'd feel kinda bad if she saw me say that.

On the other hand, if she's aware that "astrometeorology" is meaningless, and what she's putting out is a bunch of horse-hockey, and she's okay with making a living that way (which is more likely than not the case), then I wouldn't really care how she felt, because she's a lazy, shameless scam artist and needs to get a real job.

But isn't that a cheap shot (even if it's true)? :P

August 26th? That's not such a gutsy prediction - keep predicting that and you'll be right soon enough.

Now if she said June 26th, that would really be putting herself out there. hehe

Well, after looking at the 2005 predictions, if your batting average is on par with hers, she'd be in little or no danger of bodily harm.
