NOAA'S June Update of ENSO=Neutral next 3 months

However,after those three months the uncertainty grows in the forecast for the last months of 2006 meaning that El Nino May again May show up by the last months of the year.

This is not good. I was hoping an El Nino might kick in by September. At least start to ramp up by then and put a cap on the Atlantic activity. No doubt more devastation this season. Where is the only question.

I agree, however it goes along with what I thought might happen; a weak La Nina trending neutral, and a negative NAO.

I like reading this part of there explanation. From what I read even though the ENSO will be classified as Neutral it will be a little warmer then normal which should bring down the #'s. I hope.
