It is not moving east. The convection you see IS NOT the center! The LLC is currently just inland in Belize. You can see it on the NHC visible loop with the "fronts" overlay.TampaFl wrote:HurricaneHunter914 wrote:Appears to be moving east. Probably a wobble.

Well...
After looking at the models today.. I am less enthused about this system. I'm not saying for sure it isn't going to happen.. but the models are keeping a much stronger trough to the west in the gulf of mexico. Seems like it is going to be hard to get something of significance but since the low is probably a day or two away from its best chance of starting... there is still time for the models to change.

Here's the explanation why in another thread:
mf_dolphin wrote:Sorry folks but this isn't up for a vote. We are discussing the limit but it's more of a technical issue than anything else. The way our board's software runs is that when you click on a topic to read it the board reads every post involved out of the database and then gives you the first 20 posts. With 20 posts per page a 50 page thread would cause over 1000 database reads. Now take a thread like recon/advisories etc which sometime have 50-60 doing that at once the load can get overwhelming. By minimizing the number of pages we cut down on the impact of this shortcoming. We are also looking into a board modification that would change the behavior of the board but until we know a little more we're going to keep the limit as it is. Thanks for your understanding.
