I was just thinking about Arlene forming this time last year the other day myself and how odd that is with an invest issued. If we only knew what a busy and deadly season it would turn out to be.

had my daughter's birthday the day the storm hit............daughter left for a trip to return the day Cindy hit and then we got hit hard by good old Dennis

this year , daughter is already gone on vacation............wonder what will happen within the next month compared to last year

Well I'm sorry to hear that hope she'll have a better time this year. My brothers birthday was the day Charley hit Florida and we got the damn eyewall too, took our tree out in two seconds.I've never seen so much wind and rain before in my life!

Except TD 1 barely has convection near the center.

They look like the same storm except the fact that Arlene formed further south of where TD-1 formed. When Arlene went through Alabama, all we got here in Clinton (borders Jackson on the westside) was clouds and a little wind which was below 35 MPH. I was working for Wal-mart at the time and had to push carts by hand and it was REALLY fun running after them before they hit cars or run onto the highway.
