Interesting winds have turned more towards the north in the past hour.

Surface pressure was down to 1006 last hour with 20 knot winds out of the northeast.
Thats a pretty strong fetch out of an odd direction for a LLC over land?
Just proves the statement about the surface low being rather broad I guess. The positive thing is that a broad shallow low should not spin up very quickly so we have plenty of time to watch this thing. They will declare this thing a depression when they have a better handle on the initial position and steering.
