Hey, I hear if you keep asking the same question over and over again in multiple posts people will answer you.

Either that, or they get pissed off and ignore anything you say from now on. One of the two, I forget which.

We're not ignoring, but mtm4319 apparently isn't on right now, and none of us have it. So until a person who has the software sees his question, it isn't going to get answered. I'd personally like to have it too, if it makes you feel any better.

EDIT: and brunota said exactly what I was thinking . . .

it has been stated many times that the GPS looking thing is manually entered...there is no download for it...at this current time of course...hoping someone will develop something like that that can instantly download the stuff...that would be cool...

Actually, no intermediate advisory this time around. Cuba didn't want the TS watch/warning. Possibly a special, but no other way.

The 30 second sustained wind associated with that was 37kts so just below TS strength at the surface. What is the conversion from 30 second to 60 second average?

By the way, I just saw in Channel 7 (Miami) that Fidel is dedicating the night to inform the public on how to prepare for the flooding and the dangers that these systems carry. Not a surprise at all. Every time Cuba is menaced by a tropical cyclone, Fidel believes he is a meteorologist!!!

See, this is why I am confused PK. The NHC would always reference the 10th column in the discussions when mentioning winds found by the recon, not the 7th. I haven't seen them ever reference the 7th. I guess they might allow for the fact that there are probably stronger winds in the system and use the 10 second wind to allow for that fact, but I don't know.

I also couldn't tell you the conversion to the 1-minute average, even though I've seen it before. Sorry.

No problem,Windrunner. However those 38kt winds are the most strongest so far in this mission that they had found.
