Interesting loops below. If it wasn't so late I sure would think TD#1 was moving WNW and getting better organized but maybe I'm just tired.

I would say that you are right. I think this is getting better organized and heading either WNW or NW.Stormcenter wrote:Interesting loops below. If it wasn't so late I sure would think TD#1 was moving WNW and getting better organized but maybe I'm just tired.

Yeah, I think you're tired. Looks to still be moving NNW and very disorganized.

Here is another Sat. loop showing the building convection.

Looks to me like that "center" is NE of the Yucatan, and perhaps a little better than what looked like a glorified squall cluster earlier, it still looks very disorganized. All the flareup seems to be on the E and NE, and the promise of anything much developing W doesn't look too good. JMO; but I feel while we may have Alberto by tomorrow, it'll be a weak and floundering Alberto...and that's just fine w/me. Think some of those Fla. folks will be getting a lot of that much needed rain.

Looks better organized than it did 6 hours ago. You can clearly see what looks like the center on the loop below.

^ Ill agree on the center, but i wouldn't say its better organized....in reality its now just a naked swirl with thunderstorms well off to the east.
EDIT
Also noticed something...
Look at the loop and notice how tstorms are firing right behind the spin....sort of "following" it while being sheared.

Now also check this satellite loop. You can clearly see new convection "trying" to wrap around the center area.
