42036 is south and east of 42039. Note how the pressure has shot up within the last couple of hours, but the pressure on 42039 is still declining.
Perhaps one of the pro mets or other posters can tell us what is up with this, other than the obvious possibility of a malfunction.
Maybe this guy is turning a little toward the north.[/url]

42036 is south and east of 42039. Note how the pressure has shot up within the last couple of hours, but the pressure on 42039 is still declining.
This also could be because there seems to be a great deal of development of the convection in that area; but overall movement still seems to be between NNE and NE, from the last couple of loops Ive seen.
