I was just pointing out the similiarities to Earl in 98 and that we cannot always go by Sat. presentations, that is why we fly the Recons.

yea i know that discussion threw me of....but again it would not surprise me if this became a hurricane by the 5:00pm advisory or the 11:00pm.

to get it online, one needs to have a subscription with the AMS journals. It can be found in weather and forecasting.

Like I said yesterday,and some discounted it,Alberto quite possibly will reach minimal hurricane status before landfall.I think he could top out at 75mph
