All I can say is, this is a poor excuse for a TS. I'm looking at numerous ship and buoy reports around a center that's difficult to identify. They're indicating 25-30 kt winds at the surface. WInd shave dropped by atoub 15 kts int he past 2 hours as convection diminishes and the center has become less obvious. Looks like a weak TS to me. I don't think those FL winds made it down to the surface as they would in a purely tropical system.
