Well, my alert sounded on my weather radio and said that a strong thunderstorm was moving my direction with 58 - 60 mph wind gusts. Within 5 minutes it was here. Good thing I had already given my dog his xanax this morning. Yes, he has been on xanax since Hurricane Charley ripped through here whenever there are storms. Just gave him another one because he is trying to break through the windows to get out. He seems to think he would be safer outside in the storms rather than in.

Here in Tampa we're getting steady rain with very light breezes. Definitely not a downpour.

Yeah, back to what it has been most of the day....steady rain. Quite a bit of rumbling still going on though. That was one strong storm that came through a little bit ago.

Yes it is quiet here right now, I am watching that same storm cell the HG is watching. It is getting closer to me right now.

You to HG. Just called me husband he is out actually building a deck right now. I told him he might want to start rapping things up and get home.

:uarrow: Ya'll keep yer heads down and stay safe.

Not bragging but we haven't had anything but some much needed rain. 1-1/2" so far. No rumbles or wind.

I had a 26mph gust @ 1:33pm.

Barometer has dropped from 30.11 to 29.79 so far today.

LaCrosse WS-2310 weather station at my house.

Sounds like the smart thing to do. our jobsite is busy today with getting rid of trash and debris that could potentially blow around and cause problems.

it is just the calm before the storm...

But when you look at the radar loop, it appears the worst that Tampa Bay is going to get is pretty much at, near, or even north of Tampa Bay already. I don't know that there's going to be much storm after the calm in Tampa Bay.
