O Town, I live about 10-15 minutes from quarterdecks. It's actually in the entertainment district of fort lauderdale beach. Def worth getting a hotel and you would be with in walking distance of everything including beach and quarterdecks if you choose to stay on the beach.

This is gonna be GREAT! Glad to see more members getting on board for this gathering. I was hoping for more at the last gathering at Hurricane Alley restaurant in Boynton, so this should be excellent. It will also allow as to get to know eachother better personally and discuss many things on the hurricane season.

I've heard of this Fort Lauderdale restaurant before. It's a great place to gather in and I can't wait to taste the food!

Well I ran the idea of a road trip by the old man last night, and didn't get a yay or nay. Hes like do you know how far that is? lol. Yes I do it'll be fun I said. So I guess he is thinking about it. Could go either way, but I would like to see Ft. Lauderdale and meet some friends in the process. Will keep you updated, now that I have laid it out there and finally asked him I can now 'bug' him about it. :P

Yeah asking him like every 2 minutes... he'll get annoyed and give up.

I'll try to be there.
Maybe bring my daughter who has been following S2K with me for the past couple of years for all the info and we love S2K!!!

We go on vacation the next day (Orlando) so have to pack but we will do our best to get down to Quarterdeck
