Do you have any foods that you absolutely cannot eat?

Something that you are allergic to or causes you pain, etc?

Liver, eggplant, and "straight" milk.

Oh, yes...and about 50% of beancounter's cooking.

never had a black raspberry. arent those blackberries?

i LOVE eggplant and "straight" milk, not together, of course. and we eat liver at least three times a month, both calf and chicken liver.

but i had to chuckle about the beancounter's cooking. just hilarious.

Alicia....black raspberries (some call them "thimbleberries") are very different than blackberries. Black raspberries ARE like little thimbles that pull off the ovula easily when ripe....the blackberries usually are a much lower growing shrub that pulls off the plant with the entire berry. Taste is different too!

Both grow wild around here. I have some secret places I go to pick starting around the 4th of July.....Mmmmmm.....those beautiful little berries make the BEST jelly!......p

Eggplant?? Another one of my faves!

I have to be very careful and I am a extremly picky eater anyway. I got to watch because I have a very sensitive stomach. If I eat too much cheese (and I LOVE cheese), or anything too spicy, I usually end up with severe pain. I am not supposed to drink alcohol either which I still do, but end up paying for it after. I am very stubborn.
