Chad - you old? Oh come on.....this isn't the big 3-0 is it? It can't be!!!! Maybe the big 2-5? I remember having a real hard time with 25 but not 30. That was odd. Heck, now I'd take 25 - in a heartbeat!

The secret to skipping one is you just don't tell people it's coming up! Cat's out of the bag now!!!! LOL

(Happy BD early......)

The BEST years are ahead of you and you just don't see it yet. Wait until you're 50 and then you'll look back fondly on turning 26.

I didn't think you were close to 30.....I was right!

You are just a baby Chad. Goo-goo-gaga......LOL!!!!

No wrinkles, no gray hair, no memory probs, you can read menus in a restaurant w/o reading glasses or borrowing someone else's reading glasses (who announces their strength is probably not what you're used to but heck, you want to read that menu so you put up with them!).......just a few things for you to look forward to!!!!

Gah...come next March, I turn the big 3-0. Not to pleased by it either. I've gone almost completely salt and pepper now, just like my dad and most of the men in my family. I've requested on multiple times to go backwards in age until i was like 18, and then go forward again. But I'm shot down everytime.

And back on track - no, I don't remember that happening. Guess I'm not old enough to remember things like that :D

Oh no!!! It's not fair that men can gracefully go gray and look handsome. Women however just look old and washed up! Well, you have my sympathies.....I'd be 1/3 to 1/2 all gray if I didn't color. LOL

You poor youngsters! Instead of bemoaning your age you should be rejoicing. At 50, my husband moved out and left me with two daughters to raise. About the same time, my father died and I had to move to FL to take care of my mother. Next month I will be 66 and am about to start a whole new life (alone) in another state. Life is an adventure. Embrace it.

As for skipping years, you don't have too. Just start celebrating anniversaries of your birth date. This year I will celebrate the 26th anniversary of my 40th birthday.

Mom, I admire your spirit. I hope that I have your spunk when I get there. Now tell me, how DO you get your spouse to leave?

Chad, I've got 30 years on you (today, as a matter of fact) -- and I would NOT want to be 26 again....
