Check it out.....new attraction in the Greater Cincinnati area:

You may ask if I will be brave enough to climb that bridge - honey, you could not pay me enough to do ~that~!!!!

But more power to anyone who wants to try. My daughter is one, she swears she's using part of her birthday gift money for the ticket. We'll see about that. LOL!

Purple People Bridge Climb?

Are they climbing to get away from a one-eyed, one-horned monster that's trying to eat 'em? It flies, so climbing won't help 'em!!

:roflmao:

Sorry...couldn't resist.

LOL Well this bridge was turned into a pedestrian one - walkers, bikes, strollers, etc. But no cars. Then they decided to paint it a bright color. I don't recall who decided on Purple but I imagine it's b/c it starts with the same letter of the word people. From there purple stuck I guess. Took some getting used to but by now no one complains about the color. Purple is better than say Pink!

No, no jumping required. I thought so at first when I heard you could climb it, I thought it was be like rock climbing. But it's really just walking across the bridge while walking on plexiglass. One article's title said the view is worth it but don't look down!

I won't have to worry about looking down, I'll be looking up b/c I won't even attempt this. LOL

There is no way I would climb a bridge. Sorry but these feet stay on ground or water.
