Wow, just got home from 2 days at Daytona Beach, and by looking at the visible you would not have thought it was sunny all day today with not a drop of rain. Waves were not that rough either. 8-)

Has this year's crow supply diminished? I always thought there was an infinite supply of crow at the start of each season. I did not realize there is a limited amount of crow to go around.

A weak vortex appears to be spinning off the coast of WPB. Probably just one of the small swirls turning in the broad circulation. Thunderstorms look like they are firing up near it. Its gonna run outta real estate soon.

I think a circulation may be trying to form within the convection over Florida... if it can enter the GOM who knows?

It's probably an endangered species now after last year.

That radar out of west palm beach looks interesting. Very intense rainfall just off the coast. If this area holds together and pushes west it could make for a potential flood event for SE Florida.

I am getting increasing interested at the west palm system as well. Starting to look like TS Jerry from 1995

Very interesting observations this evening. It appears an LLC has formed East of West Palm Beach this evening. Radar and Hi-res satelite imagery suggest low pressure at the surface may be forming. In addition West Palm Beach is reporting winds out of the NNE while Miami has winds out of the wsw which also would support a surface reflection....This is getting very interesting by the minute!

Interesting feature east of WPB - looks to be a LLC. WPB has the lowest recorded pressure at 29.89 in. Thunderstorms are wrapping around the center. Slowly drifting to the W. It is over the gulf stream so its got a source for convection. Will probably be over land in 6 hrs though.

my final prediction: Tropical Depression 2 makes landfall along the WPB or Broward County coastline, bringing in heavy storms into South Florida!

anyone guess the motion of this possible center developing ( I know we are going out on a limb of a limb here) but would this thing still being influenced by upper low just kinda sit over the florida straits tonite and drift SW or SSW and then DRIFT south/ and meander in the florida straits of shore palm beach/ MIAMI?

SST's 82-85

(for the record NO i don't think this will amount to squat)

Even if it did close off a well defined LLC with 35 to 40 mph winds, it would take a tree falling through the nhc building for the nhc to upgrade it.
