This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Mid-July GOM tropical forecast anyone?

#1 Postby Houstonia » Wed Jun 28, 2006 1:48 pm

Anyone want to venture into a July 14-19 GOM forecast?

I am leaving Houston on the afternoon of July 14 to drive to Miami, Florida. Since I will be following the GOM the whole way - I'd like to have some idea of the weather.

Sorry mods - if I've written in the wrong topic area!!

Yeah, I think it's impossible to forecast that far out.

Worse than driving . . . I'll be heading out of Mobile to Cozumel. Could be really exciting

I am going to be gone from the 6th to the 11th to NC. Hopefully both Houston and Raleigh are spared during that period.
