Do you have to get your spouses permission to do things? Can you take a vacation with friends if you choose?

John would let me do about anything. A trip with the girls or my sister would not concern him at all. If he thought I was having a good time, that is all that matters.

He went to St. Andrews with a friend of his for a week for the British Open and I was glad he had a good time.

I guess age and maturing has a lot to do with it, and trust too.

Now, take my ex husband..... no way.....

We usually do things together but I will go backpacking or mountain biking without her if she doesn't fell like going. As far as a long trip, we always go together.

Me and my ex gf frequently did things together but im the type that likes to go off by myself sometimes. Didnt bother me a bit if she wanted a nite out with the girls either.
