Nothing else is highlighted. I tried the broadband again, and it says, "Your broadband connection should be configured and ready to use" but it doesn't work.
I've been clicking on "setup" because the "add" option is under dial-up. There's also a LAN connection option at the bottom.
I had whatever IE6 came on this computer when I bought it last year as I immediately downloaded Firefox and have been using that. I wonder if Microsoft has a phone number as all email support I've ever tried never seems to address the problem correctly. It's usually a form letter for something other than what my problem is.
I do have RoadRunner.
Can you go to IE and download it now thus overriding the FF and IE becoming your new Browser?
I'm not sure what you mean. I have downloaded IE7, but I can't connect to the internet with it. My plan is to use IE instead of Firefox, but I just can't get it to connect. It doesn't make any sense. I can't get rid of Firefox yet, or I wouldn't be able to connect at all. I shouldn't have to either. Having Firefox should not affect IE working.
