Heading to Texas
Hey all. Anyone near enough to Texas City- I would like to invite you to come out to Lowe's there on Saturday from 10 til 2. I will be there for a hurricane readiness event with our small engine expert, James Lewis.
I will also be working with several other local organizations and agencies from the area. Come on out if you can.
Galveston Duck- hope to see you there! You're just minutes away.

It was great to finally meet Mark HurricaneTrack.com in person along with James Lewis and Lew Fincher. They are excellent and very intelligent people. We had a nice time talking and took a few pictures to share with eveyone. I hope more Houston-Galveston Stormk members got a chance to meet Mark, James, and Lew. It was a hot one today along the Upper Texas Coast......currently 97F on the wireless Davis station. Here are two photos.

Hey- boy was it hot- not as hot as it was when I was in the area for Rita- but a hot, sultry day for sure.
The event was very nice. James and I appreciate very much that people come out to meet us. To know that people like to follow our work and take time out of their day to meet us in person is great.
We have a couple more events scheduled in NC and VA between now and the end of August. I'll talk more about those events on hurricanetrack.com later next week.
Hope the tropics stay quiet for a while longer so that we can all get some rest after being on the road off and on since May 24. My Tahoe's seat is now in the shape of my........
