Yeah, that looks about right. First time I remember seeing the "Hot" icon in the forecast. The other problem is the humidity that's sticking around with it. NDFD shows a heat index of 107 at 2pm on Wednesday for DC - and that wouldn't even be the max!

Please, everyone stay safe out there this week! This is going to be the hottest it has felt in a couple of years.

Due to different calibrations, that 109 would actually be 103, and 111 actually 105 (the difference is always the same, regardless of the units). The heat index is NOT a temperature.

Tomorrow's record is 102, just heard on KYW it might be 101. Been digging in my closest for something cool to wear to work tomorrow...driving 45 miles one way in a vehicle without A/C is something I am not looking forward to

Tomorrow's record is 102

Set in 1995, I remember that day, I was 5 years old.

I remember looking at the 5 day forecast

102-98-104-100-99

I'll never forget that summer

My last car had "two-sixty air conditioning:" Open 2 windows and go 60 mph!

Hope you don't get stuck in traffic.

I 260 the front windows, opened up the back 2 set of windows in my van and parked with all the windows open, I refuse to go back and open up a car and have a furnance blast hit me when I open the doors! (And I left at 5:30 so I didn't hit traffic, but when I leave at 4:30, ouch!)
