It's not TOO hot here...only got up to 102 yesterday and 104 2 days ago (104 is really hot, 102-104 is about the average overall maximum temperature for a summer). It's been above 100 degrees for 3 days in a row now, expected to be for at least 2 more days. It's also been 1 degree below a record 3 days in a row. Today the forecast is 102, the record is 103. Yesterday it was the same, and the forecast was spot on, and it's cooler to start the day today. I hope we reach the record, just so we can see we did, haha.

I can't imagine!!! What do you do to get out of the heat?
We just do what we need to in the morning when it is kinda cool, then try to go out and do stuff in air conditioned places in the afternoon during peak heating. Its pretty miserable!

Is it broke or the apartments don't have A/C at all? That's just crazy. What about people who work at home, have little babies, etc.? Geez...I feel for ya!
It's 99° here and the heat index at the KFDM station is 114° right now.

After hitting 100° here and even higher at some local stations, it's currently 78° after a strong thunderstorm came through. It was pouring, thunder was a booming, and the wind was a whipping. After it let up here and moved south of me, the weather alert went off with the Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

We just don't have it here. I just moved here from Oklahoma and many of the places that we looked at in the Capital Hill area of downtown Denver don't have air conditioning. A lot of the older apartment buildings built around the turn of the century don't have AC. I think people that have to do stuff in their homes or have small children get a small window unit to cool at least one room.
Thank goodness it's only 87F today with some showers over the mountains. Maybe if were lucky, we can get one of those to come off the mountains to cool us off some more!
