Bush caught cussing on open mic

#1 Postby ohiostorm » Mon Jul 17, 2006 11:16 am

Well apearently our President isn't allowed to cuss or something. Read this story. I don't understand why they are making such a big deal about him saying the "S" word.

Is it a big deal? I think it's just supposed to be the lighter side of the news. That word is one that we don't normally see come from a President, so it's sorta funny.

It's not a big deal. He probably says a lot worse in private when the mics aren't on. WHO CARES? I'm sure past Presidents have done the same...

It'd be funnier if they slowed down the audio clip, making Pres. Bush sound like a drunk when saying that.

Unfortunately, I'm not amazed. See comment I just posted about CNN at http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic ... 9&start=60 Only moments later, this thread - how ironic. I bet they are practically popping champaign corks in the newsroom.

The REST of the story was breaking news... The fact that Bush and Blair were discussing the Middle East situation. The "word" was only a side note.

A microphone picked up an unaware President Bush saying on Monday Syria should press Hezbollah to "stop doing this sh*t" and that his secretary of state may go to the Middle East soon.

Well, Bush is right!!!

My point exactly. The President is a normal person just like everyone else. I'm sure most of us cuss too when we are angry with things. I cuss at him everyday! HAHA just kidding.

With all the legitimate criticisms of this President, I can't believe people are mking such a big deal about this harmless comment.

With everything the way it is in the world today and the unprecedented situations we face around the Globe. I am not sure how valid or legitimate the criticisms are

I can ONLY IMAGINE what would be coming out of his mouth!

At this point, I can't blame President for saying s*** or anything else. I'd be pretty darned frustrated myself.
