Slight correction on the earlier dropsonde (OB #4):
500mb height: 19390 ft; Temp: 20°F; Dewpt: -12°F;
400mb height: 24967 ft; Temp: 2°F; Dewpt: -3°F;

There was no wind group, so the decoder used the 400mb pressure/heights group

Thanks for catching that. I'm still working on smoothing that part out.

Mmmmm - thanks, I need to remember to do some QC, even if it is at the cost of distribution speed . . .

Fair to assume a SW to NE first pass?

While flying in some sort of circle or something crazy . . . and I'm having problems with Senor's plotting that should plot every single point, so this might take a little longer . . .

yep though so i cant decode anything right now excpet looking at the raw data.. i just noticed that there forward motion was really slow... only going from 31.25N 75.35w and in ten minute they were at 31.28N and 75.38W so i figured they were decending ..... and they are exactly were they should be doing it as well

i imagine so A SW To NE pass seems likely now .. i figures they would go sample the SE first since it is where the strongest will be .. but i guess they want a pressure reading

Well, here's the path . . . I swear it's what they sent . . . all the while dropping out of the sky much quicker than usual (IMHO)

FWIW... it's not 31.28N and 75.38W, but rather 32°28'N 75°38'W

It's okay... it's just that 31.28N and 75.38W and 32°28'N 75°38'W are different points and I don't want people to get confused. Those points are about 20 miles apart. That difference can be greater, depending on where you are.
